Quick-turn Project Delivers Budget-friendly Solution for Craft Beer Aficionados

BountyBev leadership understands the value of doing things a little bit differently—and doing them better.

As Middle Tennessee’s top craft beer distributor, BountyBev has seen significant growth through carrying brands such as Jackalope, Good People, Founders, Bell's, Dogfish Head and Wiseacre.

BountyBev was founded in 2010, and by the end of 2015, it was time to move into a new 40,000-square-foot facility in Nashville. It was four times the size of the previous warehouse, and bids were already out for designing the new space. But a conversation between BountyBev President/“Better Beer Guy” Kurt Strickmaker and a longtime friend put another plan on tap.

That friend was John Helm, VP of strategic accounts and partner for HiTouch Business Services, and Strickmaker quickly learned that HiTouch would be able to handcraft a move for BountyBev that would include furniture, tech and installation within an exceptionally short 30-day timeframe. In addition, the look had to be “cool” to match the design aesthetic of the space and its state-of-the-art chillers, yet remain within a tight budget.

HiTouch was able to deliver a custom solution for open-space worktables, flat-screen conference room TVs and more, keeping to both the budget and the calendar.

“First, we have an incredible design team at HiTouch Business Services that engages at the drop of a hat,” Helm said. “And second, our nationwide reach and strong vendor relationships allow us to speed up the ordering process when necessary, and find discounts wherever available. With this project, the Better Beer Guys chose the Better Furniture Guys.”

HiTouch’s distinct units—including ITSimplify, MyOfficeProducts, designWorks, Rentacrate and others—regularly meet a variety of business needs for clients of all sizes.

And in BountyBev’s case, the result was worth raising a glass. Moving, according to Strickmaker, is a “six-letter curse word.”

“But when you partner with the right people in business, it lessens the load,” he said. “John Helm took the bull by the horns and coordinated our entire new office suite from soup to nuts. He assembled his team and communicated throughout the process to relieve the burden of having to do it myself…. John brings humor into the business world with professionalism and follow-through. I’ll be partnering with HiTouch for years ahead.”
